Gray bed skirt – The beauty of a coordinating duvet and pillow collection is to undo if the mattress and bed legs are exposed. This is the reason for the cotton, which is a decorative part, but it is necessary, of the decoration of the bedroom. A simple, quick but effective method of building a flat, custom-made skirt is to attach the skirt component to a sheet. Place the sheet on the mattress. Draw the edge of the spring box on the sheet along the two sides and feet of the bed. This is the line on which the skirt and the sheet will be attached. Measure the distance from the top of the spring box on the ground. Record this measurement as the final length of the skirt.
Cut the gray bed skirt fabric. Calculate the length of the required piece. It is equal to the sum of the length of the spring box multiplied by 2, plus the width of the spring box, plus 4 inches. Calculate the width of the piece equal to: the length of the skirt, plus 1 inch, finished multiplied by 2. If the bed frame is a typical bed, it will measure 80 inches long and 78 inches wide. The top will be 14 inches from the floor. Cut the fabric for this example box spring 242 inches by 30 inches. Sew together, cut short pieces of cloth as needed, to create the length of the required girdle.

Fold each end of 30 inches long strip more than 1 inch with the wrong edges together. Fold again to create a double fold of 1 inch at each end of the gray bed skirt strip. Iron in this fold. Fold the strip in half lengthwise, wrong sides together and press along the 242-inch fold. Stitch the two layers 1 inch from the edge. Fold to one side along this seam and press line. Remove the sheet from the bed. Put the strip of the skirt on the sheet, starting at one of the corners that are in that headboard of the bed. Place the edge of the strip facing the edge of the skirt, the inside of the fold bent at the top. Pin the two layers of skirt to the sheet, along the drawn line, matching the folded fold line and the drawn line.
